Teaser for Prabhu Deva’s “Petta Rap” has been Released!
The official teaser for the Tamil movie “Petta Rap” has been released. The movie stars Prabhu Deva and Vedhika in the lead roles. The movie has been produced by Jobi P Sam and directed by the well-known director of Tamil cinema, SJ Sinu, who is well-known for his films, Petta Rap (2023), Theru (2023), and Djibouti (2021). The writer of the movie is Dinil P.K.
The music for “Petta Rap” has been composed by D. Imman, who had previously won the National Film Award for Best Music Direction and was the fifth from Tamil cinema to win that award. He has composed music for more than 100 films. The production of the movie has been handled by Blue Hill Films, the director of photography (DOP) is Jithu Damodar and the editor of the movie is Nishad Yusuf. The action design of the movie has been done by Vicky and Dinesh Kasi.
Storyline of “Petta Rap”
The teaser for “Petta Rap” shows a glimpse of the movie, where the story seems to revolve around a dancer whose role has been portrayed by Prabhu Deva. The teaser starts with an intro where the line is there, which will surely be loved by Prabhu Deva’s fans as it is called Prabhu Deva as the ‘Indian Michael Jackson‘. This Action and Musical movie seems to be an entertainer for the mass audience as well as for Prabhu Deva fans, as the movie consists of some good dance numbers, which can be seen in the teaser. It has some of the iconic dance steps of Prabhu Deva.
Starcast for the Movie
The other star cast of the movie includes Vedhika who is well known for her work in ‘Kanchana 3’, which is part of the Kanchana franchise. The Kanchana 3 was a massive hit, grossing more than 14 million dollars in India and a few other countries. Vedhika had previously worked on around 22 Indian movies in different languages. The other stars are Vivek Prasanna, Bagavathi Perumal, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gobi, Riyaz Khan, and Kalabhavan Shajon.
Strong Buzz Among the Fans
The release date for the movie has not been disclosed by the makers. The movie will be released in Tamil. Some parts of the movie have been shot in Pondicherry. Makers did not reveal much information about the movie in the teaser but it seems to be a good entertainer as lots of action scenes are there and also it consists of good dance numbers.
