After CM instructions, FIR filed against 5 including RGPV VC in Rs 19.48 crore fraud case

The protest by ABVP regarding irregularities and fraud at RGPV University has caught the attention of MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. In response, he shared a tweet on X in which he said he has instructed to file an FIR, remove officers in the finance branch, and a high-level committee will investigate the matter. He also added that his government will take strict action against anyone found guilty in the case.

The full tweet of CM Mohan Yadav reads “An incident of financial irregularities going on in Rajiv Gandhi Technological University has come to my notice. I have given instructions to immediately register an FIR in this matter and to remove all the officers posted in the finance branch of the university and conduct an investigation by a high-level committee. The state government will take strict action against anyone found guilty in this case.”

As per CM instructions, An FIR has been filed against RGPV’s Vice Chancellor Sunil Kumar, Former Registrar R. S. Rajput, Finance Controller Rishikesh Verma, Bank Officer Mayank Kumar, and Dalit Sangh Sohagpuri in Gandhi Nagar (Bhopal) Police Station.
