BJP Unveils Second List of 72 Candidates for Upcoming Lok Sabha Elections

The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has unveiled its second list of 72 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, featuring prominent figures such as former Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, former Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, Nitin Gadkari, Anurag Thakur, Piyush Goyal, and Tejasvi Surya.
The BJP Central Election Committee has decided on the following names for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

- Basavaraj Bommai (Haveri)

Key Points from the BJP Second List:
- The BJP’s second list of candidates includes 20 names from Karnataka, 20 from Maharastra, 7 from Gujrat, 6 from Haryana, 6 from Telangana, 5 from Madhya Pradesh, 2 from Delhi, 2 from Himachal Pradesh, 2 from Uttarakhand, 1 from Tripura, and 1 from Dadra & Nagar and Daman & Diu.
- The list contains 11 Union Ministers, including Nitin Gadkari, Anurag Singh Thakur, Pralhad Joshi, and Piyush Goyal.
- The list includes two former CMs, Manohar Lal Khattar and Basavaraj Bommai.
- The list features 15 female candidates.
- Pankaja Munde is set to contest from Beed, the same constituency previously represented by her sister, Pritam Munde.
- Harsh Malhotra is set to replace Gautam Gambhir from East Delhi, as Gautam Gambhir announced his exit from politics to focus on his cricket commitments.
